The Writer for The Quiet Soul
Saul James
As a film composer and screenwriter, Saul has worked with directors and producers worldwide on TV productions, corporate projects, and many award-winning independent films with premieres in Paris, London, Cameroon, Marbella, Austria, Hollywood and more. As a screenwriter, he mostly chooses projects that seek to make a difference, raise awareness and challenge. Topics touched on in his scripts include chronic fatigue syndrome, prison systems and rehabilitation, post-natal depression, serial killers and psychopathy, racism and many more.

Tackling such themes, Saul finds the greatest challenge is in delicately balancing being true, faithful and honouring to the stories and lives of the people the film seeks to represent, with writing something cinematic and engaging.

Saul comes with a decade and a half of experience working in the media industry within business, commissioning and legal departments, bringing valuable industry insights to the team. He will also use his skills as a classical composer for the score.
